MY CAR Hypersonic Test Target Program

Under the new Mobile hYpersoniC Automobile taRget (MY CAR) program, my 2002 Hyundai Accent is now available to the US DoD for use as a mobile target in hypersonic weapons testing. This service is completely free and includes delivery of the vehicle, sans driver, to the test range of your choice.

Features of this test platform include:

• A top speed of over 50 miles per hour on level surfaces

• Ample optical and IR signatures for tracking

• It kind of sucks, so you won't feel bad about blowing it up

• Competitive fuel economy (about 30 mpg combined city and highway)

• Two doors

Self-driving apparatus is not included, but strongly recommended.
